My love for exploring the world inspired me to create [Exploramo](https://www.exploramo.com/) – crafting digital experiences that turn travel dreams into hotel reservations.

## Background

It all began in 2012, at one of Melbourne's leading digital agencies – building travel and accommodation sites for Qantas Holidays and Abercrombie & Kent, alongside global brands like IBM and Porsche.

In 2017 I became Engineering and Design Lead at Queensland's largest tourism website provider, specialising in hotels and resorts. I built 150+ hotel websites, engineered custom booking integrations, supported 400+ properties, led a team of designers and developers, and ran email campaigns to hundreds of thousands of guests. I saw exactly what drives direct bookings – and what doesn't.

In 2022 I joined the VIP enterprise division of Automattic Inc. – the US company behind the technology of 43% of all websites on the internet – delivering for Facebook, CNN, The White House and NASA. It's where I learned what enterprise-grade really means: fast, reliable, scalable.

So in 2026 I brought it all together and founded Exploramo: enterprise-grade reliability for hotels, with every decision in service of one goal – more direct bookings and higher occupancy.
